She started as a judge on dance show Nach Baliye (2005), and went on to do the same with others such as Jhalak Dikhla Ja (2006 & 2010), and Zara Nachke Dikha (2008).Ĭurrently, Malaika Arora Khan is greatly involved with fashion and lifestyle e-commerce brand, The Label Life, where she serves as a style editor alongside Bipasha Basu and Sussanne Khan. Malaika Arora Khan has appeared as a judge on various dance and style themed reality programs. In 2015, Malaika Arora Khan produced Dolly Ki Doli starring Sonam Kapoor. She also made a cameo in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year (2014), and danced in the Munni Badnaam Hui in Dabanng. The production house released hugely successful films like Dabangg (2010) and Dabangg 2 (2012). In 2008, she also turned producer by launching Arbaaz Khan Productions with her then-husband.
After making special appearances in movies and songs, Malaika Arora Khan debuted as an actress in EMI (2008) which did not do well. In 1998, she appeared in the movie Dil Se in its iconic song Chaiyya Chaiyya where she famously danced atop a train with Shah Rukh Khan. Malaika Arora Khan soon started modeling and working in TVCs. She was given prime slots with shows like Loveline and Style Check. When MTV started launched in India, Malaika Arora Khan was one of the first VJs to be selected for the channel.
